Discovery Harbour’s 200th Year Celebrations - Yarn Bombing!

Discovery Harbour is looking for volunteer knitters of all ages & skill levels for a really fun “Yarn Bombing” event  of the site (the 1st in Ontario!) taking place this summer as part of Discovery Harbour’s 200th Anniversary celebrations.  Wool will be supplied and all creations will be re-cycled into blankets for shelters and emergency responders when the event is over at the end of the season.   An information meeting is planned at Sainte-Marie among the Hurons on Wednesday, April 2 at 1:30 p.m.  To attend please contact Betty Gillan at 705 528-7691 or email betty.gillan@ontario.ca   Yarn generously donated by Spinrite ® LP.
