Quest Art Seeking Artists Province Wide


Quest Art is seeking new, emerging or established visual artists interested in participating in its 9th Annual Juried Art Show, which will take place March 8 until May 4, 2013.

This is an open call to all Ontario based artists working in any medium.

This year’s juried categories include Two-dimensional work, Three-dimensional work, Photography and People’s Choice.

Monetary prizes of $200 for first place and $150 for second will be awarded in each of the categories. The recipient of the People’s Choice Award will receive $150.

Deadline for Applications is 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2013.

Works will be juried by CD/DVD. Up to two original works can be submitted for jurying and must have been created in the last 12 months.

There is a non-refundable application fee of $30 payable to Quest Art.

Applications can be dropped off at Quest Art in the Midland Cultural Centre or mailed to Quest Art, 333 King Street, Midland, ON L4R 3M7, Attention Juried Art Show.

The 9th Annual Juried Art Show opening reception and awards presentation will take place on Friday, March 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Midland Cultural Centre.
